How to show a demo to your clients

In this tutorial we explain you how you can show a demo to your clients for RSI or RSI + AI Subtitles; without real interpreters, just by using recorded audios.

Prerequisites:

1. Download and install the VLC Media Playeropen in new window
2. Download any of our sample audios:

• English audio
• Spanish audio
• Korean audio
• Chinese audio
• Italian audio
• French audio

3. Download and install any of below virtual cables:

• For Windows: (⚠️ Please Run as administrator the .exe files to install correctly each virtual cable)
  • Virtual Cable
  • Virtual Cable A
  • Virtual Cable B
• For Mac:
  • Virtual Cable
  • Virtual Cables A & B

4. Create an interpreter account at www.akkadu.com

Steps:

1. Create an event
2. Add one language pair (for example: English<>Spanish) and one interpreter
3. Open the English audio with the VLC video player
4. Select as Audio Device -> Vitual Cable A
5. Open the Streaming Page
6. Select as Audio Device -> Virtual Cable A Now you can listen to the audio in the English channel (if you selected RSI + AI Subtitles you should also be able to see the AI subtitles)
7. Open the Spanish audio with the VLC video player
8. Select as Audio Device -> Virtual Cable B
9. Open the interpreter page
10. Select as Output -> Virtual Cable B Now you can listen to the Spanish audio in the Spanish channel (if you selected RSI + AI Subtitles you should also be able to see the AI subtitles)
